News from the BBC website that a swarm of bees grounded a plane at Bournemouth airport for 11 hours yesterday.

The plane, bound for Portugal, ran into the swarm of bees shortly after take off and had to turn back after experiencing engine problems.

This follows earlier reports that a swarm of 20,000 odd bees descended over Bournemouth pier on Tuesday afternoon.
