Car Boot Sale diagramFriends of Bere Regis School are holding a car boot and table top sale this Sunday (19th October).

There will also be refreshments and a raffle and entrance is 50p for buyers with a starting time of 11am.

Sellers should arrive at 9.30am and it will be £5 for Cars and £4 for Tables. Booking is advisable on 01929 471224.

Country House Fair posterLulworth Castle hosts a Country House Fair on Thursday 16th October.

With over 40 stalls to browse this is an ideal way to get your Christmas shopping underway, with plenty of gift ideas including home and garden accessories, stylish gifts, children’s toys,  gastronomic delights such as fine English chocolate, delicious smoked salmon or silver, pearl & silk items.

Entry is only £3.00 per adult (free for children) and includes entry to the Castle, Chapel, Adventure Playground and Animal Farm.

All proceeds from the fair will go towards the purchase of a Medical Equipment Vehicle for the Red Cross.

The East Street Art & Craft Xmas Fair 2008 takes place in Corfe Castle Village Hall on Sunday 16th November.

The fair offers the chance to see the very talented and creative Artists & Crafts People of The Purbecks displaying and selling their unique works under one roof.

Admission and parking is free.

Poole Pottery plateFans of Poole Pottery should get themselves down to Cottees auction house in Wareham tomorrow for the largest sale of Poole Pottery in the country.

The auction starts at 10.30am and there will be over 600 lots, including a large selection of Delphis and Studio, private Guy Sydenham, early lustre and traditional wares.
